Apple Picking - 2014

My family and I went to the apple orchard this year to pick apples!! It was the first time my hubby and I had gone in a long time, and it was our first time taking our two little ones. We had such a wonderful time and the views were just amazing.

The kids LOVED picking apples and kept asking "Is this one good mommy and daddy?" "Can we eat this one?" They had fun running through the country side and through all of the trees as well. It was so great to just watch them have fun and enjoy the experience.



After we all had picked our bushel of apples we took a few fun photos and enjoyed an apple for snack under the trees! They were so warm and delicious fresh from the tree, and honestly the juiciest apples we have ever eaten! I normally enjoy my apples from the fridge, or at least room temperature, but these were amazing! We then hiked down the hill to the café and enjoyed an apple cider doughnut and fresh apple cider!!

With these apples I plan to make apple sauce, apple butter, apple treats, and just to plain eat them!! I will be sure to post some of the fantastic recipes that I use too!!
