It's an awesome sauce to top your turkey, ice cream, or to eat all by itself! When I was working on this recipe, I made a version with more sugar, and found that it makes a great ice cream topping!!
Please let me know in the comments if you like it, or if you have any suggestions!!
Ingredients
- 12oz bag of cranberries
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- Juice of one orange
- One orange diced
- Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Directions
- Place all ingredients in a sauce pan, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries burst and sauce starts to thicken, about 10-15 minutes.
Notes- Delicious on not only left-overs, but also vanilla ice cream!
